Related Themes: Agni Purana 308 (Gayatri-japa and homa context)
It prescribes a compact Gāyatrī-sādhanā: 300,000 mantra-japa for full attainment, supported by homa, dhyāna, and ijyā, and specifies a ritual act—worship in a maṇḍala followed by 25 Gāyatrī-linked oblations.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s manual-like coverage of practical religious technologies—counted japa, defined oblation numbers, maṇḍala-based worship, and integrated disciplines (ritual + meditation)—showing its catalog of actionable rites rather than purely mythic narrative.
The verse frames japa, homa, dhyāna, and worship as parallel and mutually reinforcing means to “sarvāpti” (complete accomplishment), implying purification and siddhi through disciplined mantra practice and correctly quantified ritual action.
