Concept: Nyāsa integrates mantra into the body (aṅga-sādhana), making the practitioner a locus of Śrī/Vijayā power; fixed japa counts operationalize siddhi.
Application: Perform aṅga-nyāsa with the nine formulas, then sustained japa with padmākṣa mālā to cultivate steadiness, confidence, and ‘śrī’ (prosperity/auspicious success).

Sandhi Resolution Notes: अस्याङ्गानि → अस्य + अङ्गानि; तेष्वेकञ्च → तेषु + एकम् + च; जप्त्वाक्षाब्जैश् → जप्त्वा + अक्ष-अब्जैः; mantra syllables (हूं, फट्, श्रीं, स्वाहा) treated as Avyaya/mantric particles.
Related Themes: Agni Purana 307–308 (Trailokya-mohinī Lakṣmī pūjā and mantra-kalpa context); Agni Purana 306 (preceding trailokya-mohana mantra framework)
It gives a Śrī–Vijayā-devī mantra sequence with forceful bījas (hūṃ, śrīṃ) and phaṭ, then prescribes aṅga-nyāsa over nine mantra-limbs and a japa-count of 100,000 or 300,000 using a lotus-seed rosary.
Beyond mythology, it records practical mantra-prayoga: exact mantra-phrases, nyāsa application, japa metrics, and prescribed mala material—showing Agni Purana’s catalog-like coverage of ritual technologies alongside other sciences.
The verse frames disciplined japa and nyāsa as a means to secure victory and Śrī (prosperity/welfare), implying removal of obstacles and the accrual of auspicious merit through correctly executed mantra-sādhana.
