हुतशेषं क्षिप्तेत् कुम्भे प्रतिद्रव्यं विधानवित् प्रस्थानेन कृतं पिण्डं कुम्भे तस्मिन्निवेशयेत्
hutaśeṣaṃ kṣiptet kumbhe pratidravyaṃ vidhānavit prasthānena kṛtaṃ piṇḍaṃ kumbhe tasminniveśayet
規定の作法に通じた祭式の達人は、火供の残余(hutaśeṣa)を、各供物ごとに壺(kumbha)へ投じ入れるべきである。さらに一プラスタ(prastha)の量で作った団子(piṇḍa)をも、その壺に納めよ。
