हुतशेषं क्षिप्तेत् कुम्भे प्रतिद्रव्यं विधानवित् प्रस्थानेन कृतं पिण्डं कुम्भे तस्मिन्निवेशयेत्
hutaśeṣaṃ kṣiptet kumbhe pratidravyaṃ vidhānavit prasthānena kṛtaṃ piṇḍaṃ kumbhe tasminniveśayet
規定の作法に通じた祭式の達人は、火供の残余（hutaśeṣa）を、各供物ごとに壺（kumbha）へ投じ入れるべきである。さらに一プラスタ（prastha）の量で作った団子（piṇḍa）をも、その壺に納めよ。
