तुरीयो ब्रह्महत्यायाः क्षत्रियस्य बधे स्मृतं वैश्ये ऽष्टमांशो वृत्तस्थे शूद्रे ज्ञेयस्तु षोडशः

turīyo brahmahatyāyāḥ kṣatriyasya badhe smṛtaṃ vaiśye 'ṣṭamāṃśo vṛttasthe śūdre jñeyastu ṣoḍaśaḥ

クシャトリヤを殺した場合の罪は、ブラーフマナ殺しの罪の四分の一と記憶される。ヴァイシャでは八分の一であり、正しい生業により生きるシュードラについては十六分の一と知るべきである。
