इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्चमें लोमश-ती ्थयात्राके प्रसंगमें गयके यज्ञका वर्णन'-विषयक पंचानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṁ Śrīmahābhārate Vanaparvake antargata tīrthayātrāparvaṇi Lomaśa-tīrthayātrā-prasaṅge Gayā-yajñasya varṇana-viṣayakaḥ pañcanavattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.
Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata’s Vana Parva, within the section on pilgrimage, in the context of Lomasha’s pilgrimage narrative, the ninety-fifth chapter—whose subject is the description of the sacrifice at Gayā—comes to an end. The closing note frames pilgrimage as a dharmic practice: sacred travel and ritual are presented as means of purification, remembrance of exemplary rites, and reinforcement of ethical order through reverence for holy places and prescribed acts.
