Northern Sacred Places Enumeration

Dhaumya said: “The rivers Veṇā and Bhīmarathī are there in the southern region; they dispel the fear born of sin. Their banks are thronged with beasts and birds of many kinds, and are adorned with the hermitages of ascetics—places that foster purity, restraint, and spiritual calm.”
