Dhaumya’s Enumeration of Eastern Tīrthas

Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana

पितामहश्न भगवान्‌ देवै: सह महाद्युति: । भगुं नियोजयामास याजनार्थ महाद्युतिम्‌,महातेजस्वी भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माने देवताओंके साथ जाकर परम कान्तिमान्‌ भृगुको यज्ञ करानेके कामपर नियुक्त किया

pitāmahaś ca bhagavān devaiḥ saha mahādyutiḥ | bhṛguṃ niyojayāmāsa yājanārthaṃ mahādyutim ||

Pulastya said: The venerable Grandsire, the Blessed One—radiant with great splendor—went together with the gods and appointed the illustrious Bhṛgu to officiate a sacrifice. The episode underscores that sacred rites are sustained by rightful delegation to qualified sages, aligning divine purpose with disciplined ritual order.
