Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana

Pulastya said: “At that time, many sages and gods were present there—Varuṇa, Agni, Prajāpati, Hari who is Nārāyaṇa, and Mahādeva as well.” The scene underscores a sacred convergence: when a moment bears great spiritual and moral weight, the highest cosmic powers are portrayed as witnessing and sanctioning it.

Educational Q&A

The verse conveys that events of high dharmic and spiritual consequence are not merely human affairs; they are framed as occurring under the presence and implicit sanction of major cosmic deities, emphasizing accountability, sacred order, and reverence.

Pulastya describes a gathering where numerous sages and principal gods—Varuṇa, Agni, Prajāpati, Nārāyaṇa (Hari), and Mahādeva—are present at the location, marking the moment as exceptionally sacred and significant.
