दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure

ततो हाहेति सहसा मुक्त: शब्दो नराधिपै:,फिर तो दूसरे राजाओंके मुखसे सहसा 'हाहाकार'-का शब्द निकल पड़ा

tato hāheti sahasā muktaḥ śabdo narādhipaiḥ

Then, all at once, from the mouths of the other kings there burst forth the cry “Hā! Hā!”—a spontaneous outcry of alarm and grief at what they had just witnessed, revealing how swiftly royal composure can give way to human anguish in the face of sudden calamity.
