उपस्थाने महेन्द्रस्य वर्तमाने मनोरमे । तवागमनतो वृत्ते स्वर्गस्थ परमोत्सवे
upasthāne mahendrasya vartamāne manorāme | tavāgamanato vṛtte svargastha paramotsave
Arjuna said: “When the delightful ceremony of attendance upon Mahendra (Indra) was in progress—when that supreme festival was being celebrated in heaven—what occurred upon your arrival there?”
