Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
उर्वश्युवाच यथा मे चित्रसेनेन कथितं मनुजोत्तम । तत् ते&5हं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि यथा चाहमिहागता,उर्वशीने कहा--पुरुषोत्तम! चित्रसेनने मुझे जैसा संदेश दिया है और उसके अनुसार जिस उद्देश्यको लेकर मैं यहाँ आयी हूँ, वह सब मैं तुम्हें बता रही हूँ
Urvāśy uvāca: yathā me Citrasenena kathitaṃ manuṣottama, tat te 'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi yathā cāham ihāgatā.
Urvashi said: “O best of men, just as Chitrasena conveyed it to me, so will I tell you in full—both the message and the purpose for which I have come here.”
अर्जुन उवाच
The verse foregrounds truthful, complete communication of intent: Urvashi commits to relay exactly what was conveyed to her and to disclose her purpose, aligning speech with responsibility and clarity (a dharmic ideal of accountable speech).
Urvashi begins her address to Arjuna, stating that she will report the message given to her by Chitrasena and explain the reason she has come, setting up the ensuing exchange in this episode.
