तमब्रवीत् कुन्तिभोज: प्रीतियुक्तमिदं वच: । एवमस्तु परं चेति पुनश्चैनमथाब्रवीत्,तब राजा कुन्तिभोजने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ उत्तर दिया--“विप्रवर! “एवमस्तु'--जैसा आप चाहते हैं, वैसा ही होगा“, इतना कहकर वे फिर बोले--
tam abravīt kuntibhojaḥ prītiyuktam idaṃ vacaḥ | evam astu paraṃ ceti punaś cainam athābravīt |
Vaiśampāyana said: Then Kuntibhoja, filled with affection, spoke these words to him: “So be it; let it be exactly as you wish, O best of brahmins.” Having said this, he addressed him again—signaling a gracious acceptance of the request and a readiness to act in accordance with propriety and goodwill.
