Transliteration

ityevaṁ vānarendrās te samājagmuḥ sahasraśaḥ | diśas tisro vicityātha na tu ye dakṣiṇāṁ gatāḥ ||

Translation

Thus, those lordly monkeys gathered together in their thousands. After searching through three directions, they still did not find those who had gone toward the southern quarter.
