Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ethical value of auspicious intention and communal goodwill: sincere blessings and right-minded hopes (śiva) are portrayed as supporting success, and mastery of power (kṛtāstra) is framed as something to be welcomed with gratitude and responsibility rather than pride.

Kṛṣṇa looks at the Pāṇḍavas, their priest Dhaumya, and Draupadī, and announces that Arjuna (Kirīṭī) has returned happily after becoming accomplished in weapons—signaling a reunion and a strengthening of the Pāṇḍavas’ preparedness for future challenges.
