निवातकवचवधः — Arjuna’s Neutralization of the Nivātakavacas

तस्मै चाहं यथावृत्तं सर्वमेव न्यवेदयम् । भगवन्तं महादेवं समेतो5स्मीति भारत,भरतकुलभूषण! उनसे मैंने अपना सारा वृत्तान्त यथावत् कह सुनाया और बताया कि 'मैं भगवान् महादेवजीसे मिल चुका हूँ
tasmai cāhaṃ yathāvṛttaṃ sarvam eva nyavedayam | bhagavantaṃ mahādevaṃ sameto ’smīti bhārata ||
Then I reported to him everything exactly as it had happened, and I declared, “O Bhārata, I have indeed met the Blessed Mahādeva.” In doing so, Arjuna presents truthful testimony and acknowledges divine grace as the ground of his success.
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic speech: reporting events truthfully (yathāvṛttam) and attributing achievement to divine grace rather than personal pride, expressing humility and devotion.
Arjuna tells his listener the full account of what occurred and specifically announces that he has met Mahādeva (Śiva), marking a pivotal confirmation of his divine encounter.
