स मामुवाच राजेन्द्र प्रीयमाणो द्विजोत्तम: । दृष्टस्त्वया महादेवो यथा नान्येन केनचित्,राजेन्द्र! तब वे विप्रवर बड़े प्रसन्न होकर मुझसे बोले--“कुन्तीकुमार! जिस प्रकार तुमने महादेवजीका दर्शन किया है, वैसा दर्शन और किसीने नहीं किया है
sa mām uvāca rājendra prīyamāṇo dvijottamaḥ | dṛṣṭas tvayā mahādevo yathā nānyena kenacit ||
The foremost of Brahmins, greatly pleased, said to me, “O best of kings, you have beheld Mahādeva in a manner that no one else has.” The statement underscores the rare grace earned through disciplined devotion and purity of purpose, marking Arjuna’s encounter as an exceptional spiritual attainment rather than a mere spectacle.
अजुन उवाच
Divine encounter is presented as a fruit of inner discipline and sincere devotion; the uniqueness of Arjuna’s darśana highlights grace bestowed upon one whose purpose is aligned with dharma rather than ego or display.
A highly respected Brahmin, pleased with Arjuna, addresses the king and declares that Arjuna has seen Mahādeva in an unparalleled way, affirming the extraordinary nature of Arjuna’s spiritual experience.
