भीमसेनस्य न ग्लानिर्विक्षतस्यापि राक्षसै: । आसीत् तस्यामवस्थायां कुबेरमपि पश्यत:,भीमसेनको राक्षसोंने बहुत घायल कर दिया था। उस अवस्थामें भी कुबेरको देखकर उनके मनमें तनिक भी ग्लानि नहीं होती थी
Transliteration
bhīmasenasya na glānir vikṣatasya api rākṣasaiḥ | āsīt tasyām avasthāyāṃ kuberaṃ api paśyataḥ ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: Even though Bhīmasena had been grievously wounded by the rākṣasas, in that condition he felt no shame or dejection at all—indeed, not even when he beheld Kubera himself. The verse highlights Bhīma’s steadfast courage and refusal to yield inwardly, even before a divine witness and amid bodily suffering.
