Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
विद्युद्रूपां महाघोरामाकाशे महतीं गदाम् । शरैरबहुभिरभ्यार्च्छद् भीमसेन: शिलाशितै:,वह विशाल एवं महा भयंकर गदा आकाशमें विद्युतकी भाँति चमक उठी। यह देख भीमसेनने पत्थर पर रगड़कर तेज किये हुए बहुत-से बाणोंद्वारा उसपर आघात किया
vidyudrūpāṃ mahāghorām ākāśe mahatīṃ gadām | śarair bahubhir abhyarcchad bhīmasenaḥ śilāśitaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: A huge and exceedingly dreadful mace, flashing in the sky like lightning, blazed forth. Seeing it, Bhīmasena struck at it with many arrows, their points honed on stone—meeting terrifying force with disciplined skill and resolve.
