दीप्यमानेन वपुषा स्वर्चिष्मन्तमिवानलम् | निरीक्षन्तममित्रघ्नं लोचनैर्मधुपिड्रलै:
dīpyamānena vapuṣā svarciṣmantam ivānalam | nirīkṣantam amitraghnaṃ locanair madhupiṅgalaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: He beheld Amitraghna—his body blazing with radiance, like a fire bright with its own flames—gazing forth with honey-brown eyes.
