केसरोत्करसम्मिश्रमशोकानामिवोत्करम्‌ | हिरण्मयीनां मध्यस्थं कदलीनां महाद्युतिम्‌,सुवर्णमय कदली-वृक्षोंक बीच विराजमान महातेजस्वी हनुमानजी ऐसे जान पड़ते थे मानो केसरोंकी क्यारीमें अशोकपुष्पोंका गुच्छ रख दिया गया हो

vaiśampāyana uvāca | kesarotkarasammiśram aśokānām ivotkaram | hiraṇmayīnām madhyasthaṃ kadalīnām mahādyutim |

Vaiśampāyana said: In the midst of golden plantain trees, the mighty, radiant Hanumān appeared like a cluster of aśoka blossoms set upon a bed of saffron—an image of auspicious splendor that elevates the mind toward reverence for strength used in righteous service.
