Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
ददृशु: सर्वभूतानि महाबाणधनुर्धरम् न ग्लानिर्न च वैक्लव्यं न भयं न च सम्भ्रम:
dadṛśuḥ sarvabhūtāni mahābāṇadhanurdharam na glānir na ca vaiklavyaṁ na bhayaṁ na ca sambhramaḥ
All beings beheld him—the mighty archer bearing great arrows and a bow—and in him there was no fatigue, no faint-heartedness, no fear, and no confusion. The scene underscores the ideal of steadfast courage: inner composure and unwavering resolve even amid peril and awe-inspiring power.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of inner steadiness: true strength is shown not only by martial capability but by freedom from fatigue, fear, and mental agitation—qualities expected of a dharmic hero.
