Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
अत्राह्निकं सुरश्रेष्ठो जपते समरुदूगण: । साध्याक्षैवाश्विनौ चैव परिधावन्ति तं॑ तदा,देवश्रेष्ठ इन्द्र भी मरुदुगणोंके साथ यहाँ आकर प्रतिदिन नियमपूर्वक जप करते हैं। उस समय साध्य तथा अश्विनीकुमार भी उनकी परिचर्यामें रहते हैं
atrāhnikaṃ suraśreṣṭho japate sa-marudgaṇaḥ | sādhyāś caivāśvinau caiva paridhāvanti taṃ tadā ||
Here the foremost of the gods performs his daily rite of recitation, accompanied by the host of Maruts. At that time the Sādhyas and the twin Aśvins also attend upon him, moving about in service. The passage underscores the ideal of disciplined daily observance and the reverent service rendered even among the gods.
