Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)

Lomaśa said: “O hero, with a single radiant tusk he seized the Earth and lifted her up a hundred yojanas. O valiant Yudhiṣṭhira, the imperishable Lord Viṣṇu—steadfast and undecaying—supported the Earth with one blazing tooth and raised her aloft.” The passage underscores divine guardianship: when the world sinks into peril, the sustaining power of the Lord restores stability, inviting trust in cosmic order (dharma) beyond human strength.
