Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) |

Arjuna uvāca — Dvārakām ātmasāt kṛtvā samudraṁ gamayiṣyasi. Gopatiś ca Tālketuś ca—etau dvāv api tavaiva hastena māritau. Janārdana! bhoga-sāmagrībhiḥ sampannāṁ ṛṣi-muni-priyāṁ sva-vaśīkṛtāṁ puṇya-mayīṁ Dvārakā-nagarīm api tvam ante samudre vilīnīkariṣyasi.

Arjuna said: “Having brought Dvārakā under your own power, you will at last cause it to pass into the ocean. Gopati and Tālketu—both of them too were slain by your very hand. O Janārdana, that holy city of Dvārakā—rich in the means of enjoyment, beloved of sages and seers, and held under your sovereignty—you will ultimately dissolve into the sea.”
