Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

सादिता मौरवा: पाशा निसुन्दनरकौ हतौ । कृत: क्षेम: पुनः पन्था: पुरं प्राग्ज्योतिषं प्रति,आपने मुर दैत्यके लोहमय पाश काट दिये, निसुन्द और नरकासुरको मार डाला और पुनः प्राग्ज्योतिषपुरका मार्ग सकुशल यात्रा करनेयोग्य बना दिया

sāditā mauravāḥ pāśā nisundanarako hatau | kṛtaḥ kṣemaḥ punaḥ panthāḥ puraṃ prāgjyotiṣaṃ prati ||

Arjuna said: “The iron bonds laid by Mura’s forces were cut apart; Nisunda and Naraka were slain. Once again the road leading toward the city of Prāgjyotiṣa was made safe and passable.” In this report, the emphasis is on restoring security and lawful passage after removing violent obstruction.
