Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how disruptive, fear-inducing forces can intrude upon ordinary human discourse; ethically, it prepares the listener to observe how one should respond to intimidation—through steadiness, discernment, and adherence to dharma rather than panic or cruelty.

A rākṣasa, described as vile and terrifying, hears the dialogue of two individuals and arrives at the spot, roaring loudly—an ominous entrance that sets up an impending confrontation.
