Akṛtavraṇa’s Account Begins: Gādhi–Satyavatī–Ṛcīka and the Bhārgava Lineage Prelude

चरुद्धयमिदं भद्ठे जनन्याश्व॒ तवैव च । विश्वमावर्तयित्वा तु मया यत्नेन साधितम्‌,भद्रे! मैंने विराट्‌ पुरुष परमात्माका चिन्तन करके तुम्हारे और तुम्हारी माताके लिये यत्नपूर्वक दो चरु तैयार किये हैं

carur idam bhadre jananyāś ca tavaiva ca | viśvam āvartayitvā tu mayā yatnena sādhitam ||

Akṛtavraṇa said: “O noble lady, this sacred porridge (caru) has been prepared by me with careful effort for you and for your mother as well. Having turned my mind to the All-pervading Lord (the Virāṭ Puruṣa), I have accomplished it through disciplined striving.”
