Nāvyāśrama-nirmāṇa and Ṛśyaśṛṅga’s Distraction (नाव्याश्रमनिर्माणम्—ऋश्यशृङ्गस्य विचलनम्)
वेश्योवाच कच्चिन्मुने कुशलं तापसानां कच्चिच्च वो मूलफल प्रभूतम् । कच्चिद् भवान् रमते चाश्रमे<स्मिं- स्त्वां वै द्रष्ट साम्प्रतमागतो5स्मि,'तत्पश्चात्' वेश्याने कहा--मुने! तपस्वीलोग कुशलसे तो हैं न? आपलोगोंको पर्याप्त फल-मूल तो मिल जाते हैं न? आप इस आश्रममें प्रसन्न तो हैं न? मैं इस समय आपके दर्शनके लिये ही यहाँ आयी हूँ
vaiśyovāca kaccin mune kuśalaṃ tāpasānāṃ kaccic ca vo mūla-phala-prabhūtam | kaccid bhavān ramate cāśrame 'smin tvāṃ vai draṣṭuṃ sāmpratam āgato 'smi ||
The Vaiśyā said: “O sage, are the ascetics here faring well? And do you have an ample supply of roots and fruits? Are you content in this hermitage? I have come here now specifically to see you.”

A Vaiśyā woman approaches a muni in a forest hermitage and, following courteous convention, asks whether the ascetics are well, whether food resources are sufficient, and whether the sage is content—stating that she has come specifically for his darśana (meeting).
