Vaiśampāyana said: One should offer the principal libations and, moreover, provide excellent forest roots and fruits that truly satisfy hunger, along with food endowed with every desired quality, as a gift to the brāhmaṇas. The teaching emphasizes dharmic generosity—making one’s offerings complete not merely in form, but in real nourishment and respectful care for worthy recipients.

Dharma is fulfilled through complete and considerate giving: perform the proper rites (tarpaṇa) and also provide genuinely satisfying nourishment—good food and available forest produce—to worthy brāhmaṇas, ensuring the gift has real benefit and is offered with respect.
Vaiśampāyana continues describing prescribed acts of merit in the Svargārohaṇa context, outlining how one should conduct offerings and charitable feeding—especially to brāhmaṇas—by giving high-quality food and sustaining provisions such as forest roots and fruits.
