Vaiśampāyana said: Remaining there, the Lord Skanda bestowed distinct sovereignties, each separately. The son of Fire entrusted the governance of the three worlds to the foremost among his commanders. The passage underscores ordered delegation of power: authority is not seized for vanity, but distributed with discernment to uphold cosmic and social stability.

Power and responsibility should be distributed judiciously: rightful authority is granted in measured portions to capable leaders so that order (dharma and stability) is maintained rather than concentrated for personal aggrandizement.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Skanda, the son of Agni, remains present and assigns distinct lordships, entrusting major governance—symbolized as the three worlds—to his principal commanders, indicating an organized command structure and delegated rule.
