Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
ततो भीमबलो भीमो युधिष्ठिरमथाब्रवीत् । सृञ्जयै: सह तिष्ठन्तं तपनन््तमिव भास्करम्,तदनन्तर भयंकर बलशाली भीमसेनने सूंजयोंके साथ खड़े हुए तपते सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी युधिष्ठिस्से कहा--
tato bhīmabalo bhīmo yudhiṣṭhiram athābravīt | sṛñjayaiḥ saha tiṣṭhantaṃ tapanantam iva bhāskaram ||
Sañjaya said: Then Bhīma, mighty in strength, addressed Yudhiṣṭhira, who stood there with the Sṛñjayas, blazing like the scorching sun. The scene underscores how, amid the moral strain of war, Bhīma’s forceful resolve turns toward Yudhiṣṭhira—the dharmic center of the Pāṇḍava cause—for direction and affirmation.
