Sanjaya said: Then again, O King, the valiant Sahadeva launched against Shakuni a relentless shower of arrows, difficult to withstand. In the fierce ethic of battle, he renewed his assault with undiminished resolve, pressing the foe without yielding ground.

The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in its battlefield form: steadfastness, courage, and sustained effort against an adversary. Ethically, it reflects the epic’s insistence that once war is joined, a warrior must act with resolve and competence, without wavering.
Sanjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Sahadeva, displaying prowess, again unleashes a difficult-to-withstand rain of arrows at Shakuni, renewing the intensity of their combat.
