कर्णपरर्वणि त्रयोचत्वारिंशदध्यायः (Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 43) — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Assessment and the Reversal Around Bhīma
इत्युक्त्वा ब्राह्मण: साधुरुत्तरं पुनरुक्तवान्
ity uktvā brāhmaṇaḥ sādhur uttaraṃ punar uktavān
Having spoken thus, the virtuous brāhmaṇa again replied with a further answer—continuing his counsel in a measured, righteous tone.
कर्ण उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical weight of speech: a virtuous, learned person responds thoughtfully and continues guidance with composure, implying that righteous counsel is deliberate and sustained rather than impulsive.
After a prior statement, the brāhmaṇa—described as ‘sādhu’ (upright)—speaks again, indicating an ongoing dialogue in which he offers an additional or clarifying reply.
