Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 19 — Saṃśaptaka–Trigarta Assault and Aindra-astra Counter

Sañjaya said: “Alone you are crushing many—chariots, elephants, infantry, and horses. Just as, in a forest, a fearsome lion of tremendous strength, without any fear, destroys herds of deer, so does Hari (Kṛṣṇa) overwhelm the enemy host.”

The verse highlights steadfast courage and overwhelming capability aligned with dharma: when righteous purpose and divine support are present, fearlessness and decisive action can rout even vast forces.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, praising Hari (Kṛṣṇa) as he single-handedly devastates many enemy units—chariots, elephants, infantry, and horses—likening him to a powerful lion destroying herds of deer in the forest.
