अलम्बुस-वधः

The Neutralization of Alambusa

द्वितीयां पुरुषव्याप्र: कक्ष्यां निर्गम्य पार्थिव: । ततो वेदविदो वृद्धानपश्यद्‌ ब्राह्मणर्षभान्‌,फिर शिविरकी दूसरी ड्योढ़ी पार करके पुरुषसिंह राजा युधिष्िरने वेदवेत्ता वृद्ध ब्राह्मण-शिरोमणियोंको देखा

dvitīyāṃ puruṣavyāghraḥ kakṣyāṃ nirgamyapārthivaḥ | tato vedavido vṛddhān apaśyad brāhmaṇarṣabhān ||

Sañjaya said: Having passed beyond the second enclosure, the king—lion among men—came out into the next precinct. There he beheld aged Brahmin sages, masters of the Vedas, eminent among their order—an image of learning and moral authority standing amid the turmoil of war.
