पाण्डवास्तु जयं लब्ध्वा सिंहनादान्‌ प्रचक्रिरे । सिंहनादेन महता समकम्पत मेदिनी,पाण्डव विजय पाकर सिंहनाद करने लगे। उनके उस महान्‌ सिंहनादसे पृथ्वी काँप उठी

Transliteration

pāṇḍavās tu jayaṁ labdhvā siṁhanādān pracakrire | siṁhanādena mahatā samakampata medinī ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Having won the victory, the Pāṇḍavas raised mighty lion-roars. By that great roar, the earth itself seemed to tremble—an outward sign of their triumph and the surging momentum of battle.
