Shloka 613

धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection

सिंहवन्नदथ प्रीता: शोककाल उपस्थिते । 'रणक्षेत्रमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनका अपराध करके तुम्हारे लिये शोकका अवसर उपस्थित है, ऐसे समयमें तुमलोग प्रसन्न होकर सिंहनाद कैसे कर रहे हो?

siṁhavan nadatha prītāḥ śokakāla upasthite | raṇakṣetre śrīkṛṣṇa-arjunayor aparādhaṁ kṛtvā tubhyaṁ śokasyāvasaro 'pahitaḥ; evaṁkāle yūyaṁ prahṛṣṭāḥ siṁhanādaṁ kathaṁ kurutha? ||

Sañjaya said: “You roar like lions in delight even though a time for grief has arrived. Having committed an offense against Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna on the battlefield, you have brought upon yourself an occasion for sorrow—how, at such a moment, can you exult and raise a lion-like shout?”
