Bhīma said: “I will follow you. Dhṛṣṭadyumna, and Sātyaki as well; the Pāñcāla warriors, the Kekaya princes, the troops of Matsya, and all the Prabhadrakas too—everyone will march in your wake.” In the midst of war, Bhīma’s words affirm steadfast solidarity and shared responsibility: the righteous cause is upheld not by solitary heroism, but by coordinated commitment among allies.

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic resolve expressed as loyal support: in a righteous struggle, commitment is strengthened when leaders and allied forces stand together, follow a chosen commander, and share the burden of action.

Bhīma declares that he will follow the addressed leader, and he lists major allied contingents—Dhṛṣṭadyumna, Sātyaki, the Pāñcālas, Kekayas, Matsyas, and Prabhadrakas—signaling a coordinated advance and unified backing in the battle context of Droṇa Parva.
