The verse primarily conveys rasa (aesthetic mood) rather than a direct moral injunction: it uses a vivid simile to show how a warrior’s presence can transform the moral and emotional atmosphere of battle—evoking awe, intensity, and the ominous approach of dusk.
The speaker describes Bhīmasena on the battlefield: at dusk his form appears like a mountain covered with fireflies, suggesting flickering brilliance amid gathering darkness and emphasizing his formidable, almost elemental presence in combat.
