न पाण्डवेया न वयं नान्ये लोके धनुर्धरा: । युध्यमानस्य ते तुल्या: सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते,युद्ध करते समय आपकी समानता न तो पाण्डव, न हमलोग और न संसारके दूसरे धनुर्धर ही कर सकते हैं, यह मैं आपसे सच्ची बात कहता हूँ
na pāṇḍaveyā na vayaṁ nānye loke dhanurdharāḥ | yudhyamānasya te tulyāḥ satyam etad bravīmi te ||
Duryodhana said: “Neither the sons of Pāṇḍu, nor we ourselves, nor any other bowmen in the world can match you when you are engaged in battle. This I tell you as the truth.” In context, the line functions as strategic praise—an attempt to bolster an ally’s resolve and to frame martial excellence as decisive in a war whose moral stakes are already heavy.
