Shloka 14

ततो दीप्ताग्निसंकाशां शतघण्टामलंकृताम्‌ | चिक्षेप तस्मै समरे गदां काड्चनभूषिताम्‌,तदनन्तर घटोत्कचने समरांगणमें प्रज्वलित अग्निके समान तेजस्विनी, एक सौ घंटियोंसे अलंकृत और सुवर्णभूषित अपनी गदा उसके ऊपर चलायी

tato dīptāgnisaṅkāśāṁ śataghāṇṭām alaṅkṛtām | cikṣepa tasmai samare gadāṁ kāñcanabhūṣitām ||

Sañjaya said: Then, in the midst of battle, he hurled at him a mace that blazed like a flaming fire—adorned with a hundred bells and ornamented with gold. The scene underscores how, in the fury of war, warriors deploy terrifying, richly fashioned weapons not for display but for decisive harm, intensifying the moral weight of violence on the battlefield.
