द्रोणपुत्रस्याग्नेयास्त्रप्रयोगः — अर्जुनस्य ब्राह्मास्त्रप्रतिघातः — व्यासोपदेशः

द्रवतां योधमुख्यानां गाण्डीवप्रेषितै: शरै:,विद्धानां शतशो राजन् श्रूयते निःस्वनो महान् । “राजन! गाण्डीव धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाणोंद्वारा बिद्ध होकर भागते हुए सैकड़ों मुख्य- मुख्य योद्धाओंका वह महान् आर्तनाद सुनायी पड़ता है
dravatāṁ yodhamukhyānāṁ gāṇḍīvapreṣitaiḥ śaraiḥ | viddhānāṁ śataśo rājan śrūyate niḥsvano mahān ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, as hundreds of foremost warriors flee after being pierced by arrows shot from the Gāṇḍīva, a great, dreadful cry is heard.”
