अलंबलवधः (Alaṃbala-vadhaḥ) / The Slaying of Alaṃbala and the Advance toward Karṇa

उपारमत तत्‌ सैन्यं सरथाश्चनरद्धिपम्‌

upāramat tat sainyaṃ sa-rathāś ca nara-adhipam

Sañjaya said: Then that army ceased its advance and came to a halt—together with its chariots—before the lord of men. In the midst of war’s fury, this pause marks a moment of restraint and tactical recalibration, where force is checked and the next course of action is weighed under the pressures of duty and survival.
