Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca

सृष्टे तमसि कृष्णेन गतो5स्तमिति भास्कर:

sṛṣṭe tamasi kṛṣṇena gato 'stam iti bhāskaraḥ

Sañjaya said: When darkness had been brought forth by Kṛṣṇa, the Sun was thought to have set. In the turmoil of war, this divinely induced gloom confused perception and time itself, showing how extraordinary power can overturn ordinary moral and practical certainties on the battlefield.
