Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
तयोर्विसृजतोस्तत्र शरजालानि मारिष

Sañjaya said: “O venerable one, as those two warriors there kept releasing their missiles, volleys of arrows spread out like nets, thickly filling the battlefield.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the overwhelming intensity of war: when skilled fighters unleash weapons without restraint, violence multiplies and engulfs the field like a net—an implicit reminder of the destructive momentum of conflict.
