iṣuśniḥ kārmukaṃ cāsya cakarta puruṣarṣabhaḥ | tat papāta mahārāja svārṇapṛṣṭhaṃ mahāsvanam ||
Sañjaya said: The bull among men (Bhīma), with his arrows, cut down Karṇa’s bow as well. O King, that bow—gold-backed and resonant with a deep twang—fell to the earth.
