Droṇa’s Rebuke to Duryodhana after Jayadratha’s Fall
sañjaya uvāca | āgacchata praharata drutaṃ viparidhāvata | praviṣṭāvarisenaṃ hi vīrī mādhavapāṇḍavau ||
Sañjaya said: “Come forward! Strike at once! Rush in from all sides with speed. For the heroic Mādhava and the Pāṇḍava have indeed penetrated deep into the enemy’s army.” The call is urgent and tactical, reflecting the war’s moral tension: courage and duty to one’s side are invoked even as the battlefield grows more chaotic and perilous.
