मागधान् द्रवतो दृष्टवा हतशेषान् समन्ततः
māgadhān dravato dṛṣṭvā hataśeṣān samantataḥ
Sañjaya said: Seeing the Magadhan troops fleeing in all directions, with only a remnant left after the slaughter, he perceived that their force had been broken and scattered on every side.
