तमापततन्तं सम्प्रेक्ष्य पाण्डवानां महारथा: । अभ्यवर्तन्त वेगेन भीमसेनपुरोगमा:,उस हाथीको आते देख भीमसेन आदि पाण्डव महारथी शीघ्रतापूर्वक उसके चारों ओर खड़े हो गये

tam āpatatantaṃ samprekṣya pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathāḥ | abhyavartanta vegena bhīmasena-purogamāḥ ||

Sañjaya said: Seeing that elephant charging toward them, the great chariot-warriors of the Pāṇḍavas—led by Bhīmasena—swiftly moved forward and took their positions around it, meeting the onrush with disciplined courage and protective resolve amid the chaos of war.
