Varṣa-Parvata-Nivāsinām Varnanam
Description of Regions, Mountains, and Their Inhabitants
तेषां सहस्रशो राजन् पर्वतास्ते समीपत: । अविज्ञाता: सारवन्तो विपुलाश्रित्रसानव:,राजन! इनके आसपास और भी हजारों अविज्ञात पर्वत हैं, जो रत्न आदि सार वस्तुओंसे युक्त, विस्तृत और विचित्र शिखरोंसे सुशोभित हैं
teṣāṁ sahasraśo rājan parvatās te samīpataḥ | avijñātāḥ sāravanto vipulāś citraśṛṅgiṇaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, near those (mountains) there are thousands more—unknown and uncharted—yet rich in valuable substances (such as gems), vast in extent, and adorned with wondrous, variegated peaks.”
